Compagnon d'automne * Fall campion
Le compagnon blanc (Silene latifolia) fleurit habituellement entre mai et septembre. Aujourd'hui, octobre est bien entamé vu que nous sommes le 12 mais, ils fleurissent toujours au bord du chemin. La météo, totalement loufoque que nous avons ces derniers mois, en est surement la raison.
The white campion (Silene latifolia) usually blooms between May and September. Today, October 12, they always bloom at the edge of the path. Weather, totally absurd that we have these last months, is certainly the reason.

Encore * Again
une chenille que j'adore tellement et dont je rêve de faire le portrait de son profil ailé: le machaon (Papilio machaon).
A caterpillar which I like so muc and about which I dream to make the portrait of its winged profile: the swallowtail (Papilio machaon)

Bel argus * Adonis blue
En général chez les papillons, les mâles sont colorés et les femelles ternes. Mais il en est un où la femelle est elle aussi bien colorée.
Generally butterflies males are colored and the females not. But it is one where the female is colored as well.
Chez le bel argus (Lysandra bellargus) le dessous des ailes reste classique pour une femelle. Le dessus des ailes lui par contre est d'un brun bien bleuté à un point que la confusion avec un mâle au premier abord est souvent fréquente.
For the Adonis blue (Lysandra bellargus) the bottom of wings remains classic for a female. The top of wings on the other hand is a very bluish brown so that the confusion with a male at first sight is often frequent.

Esthétique * Attractive
Difficile de rester insensible devant une araignée. Elles déclenchent bien des passions
Après avoir vaincu ma phobie grace à la photo et l'étude de ces petites bêtes je dois avouer que je craque pour l'esthétique argiope frelon (Argiope bruennichi)
Difficult to remain insensible in front of a spider. They start many passions
Having overcome my phobia thanks to the photo and the study of these small animals I have to admit that I am unable to resist to the attractive wasp spider (Argiope bruennichi)

Geranium
Géranium sauvage, le géranium herbe à Robert (Geranium robertanium) a une odeur repoussante mais de grandes vertus médicinales. Il a notamment des propriétés antihémorragique, diurétique et astringente.
Wild geranium, the herb Robert (Geranium robertanium) has a disgusting smell but big medicinal virtues. It has in particular antihemorrhagic, diuretic and astringent properties.
Les géraniums sauvages sont nombreux et pas toujours facile à identifier comme celui qui suit par exemple ;)
The wild geranium are numerous and not always easy to identify as the following one for example ;)
