Le bombyx de la ronce (Macrothylacia rubi)
a une chenille qui a son dernier stade ne passe pas inaperçue: noir et
rousse, pleine de poils et pas loin de 8cm de long !! Elle grignotte dès
l'été les ronces (Rubus fruticosus) et passera l'hiver au sol sous les
feuilles.
The fox moth (Macrothylacia rubi) has a caterpillar which at its last stage does not go unnoticed: black and red, full of hair and not far from 8cm long !! It nibbles the brambles (Rubus fruticosus) in summer and will spend the winter on the ground under the leaves.
