Ne jamais baisser les bras * Never give up

Après une année 2018 très difficile physiquement pour moi, je voyais 2019 encore plus sombre ... 

Mais à force de me battre, et de ne pas accepter la situation j'ai réussi (bon ok il y a aussi le nouvel antalgique qui m'a aidé). Réussir à remonter seule avec mes chiens en forêt et reprendre la photo, il a 3 semaines, je n'y croyais pas vraiment.

Hier quand j'ai vu les tortues voleter autour de moi je ne pensais pas réussir à en immortaliser une car me poser au sol est encore difficile (disons que ça fait plouf! de cette façon pas facile de ne pas effaroucher les insectes). Mais voilà j'en ai eu une. La photo est loin d'être parfaite mais pour moi c'est une victoire!

 

After a 2018 year very physically difficult for me, I saw 2019 even darker ...

But by dint of fighting, and not accepting the situation I succeed (well, there is also the new analgesic that helped me). Succeed to go up alone with my dogs in the forest and take pictures, 3 weeks ago, I wouldn't have believe it.
Yesterday when I saw the tortoishells fluttering around me I didn't think I could immortalize one because to put me on the ground is still difficult (say that it splashes! This way it's not easy not to frighten insects). But here I got one. The picture is far from perfect but for me it's a victory!

Et lorsque je me suis retrouvé dans un banc de bombyles (il y en avait des dizaines le long de ce chemin à chercher un coin où pondre) je me suis dit je tente. Je m'installe dans un coin où il y  en avait beaucoup et j'attends leur retour. Le problème, en plein soleil, en fin de balade les chiens étaient fatigués et ne supportaient pas de rester statiques. J'ai donc capitulé. Mais plus loin, au lieu de fureter à la recherche d'un coin terreux, ils prenaient le soleil sur les herbes séchées. J'ai tenté ... et réussi ! Une fois encore cette photo n'est pas parfaite mais c'est encore une victoire!!

And when I found myself in a shoal of bombyles (there were dozens along this path looking for a place to lay) I thought I will try. I sit in a corner where there were many and I await their return. The problem, in full sun, at the end of the ride the dogs were tired and could not stand to stay static. So I surrendered. But farther, instead of snooping in search of an earthy corner, they were sunbathing on dried herbs. I tried ... and succeeded! Once again this picture is not perfect but it's still a victory!

Elle aime le piquant * She like it "spicy"

Chenille de la petite tortue ou vanesse de l'ortie (Aglais urticae). On trouve le papillon dans les jardins, les vergers et bord de chemin riche en ortie qui nourrit la chenille.

Caterpillar of the small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae). We find the butterfly in gardens, orchards and edge of path rich in stinging nettle which feeds the caterpillar.

Petite tortue * Small tortoiseshell

   

Des orties couvertes de chenilles noires et jaunes ... un "nid" de vanesse de l'ortie aussi appelée petite tortue (Aglais urticae) est en développement.

Stinging nettles covered with black and yellow caterpillars ... a "nest" of small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae) is in development.

 

Un joli papillon est né ... et ce matin là il s'est laissé à peu près approcher ;)

 

 

An attractive butterfly was born and, this morning I was allowed more or less to approach ;)
