Fasciata

Coléoptère fréquent sur les apiacées en été, le lepture fascié (Stenurella bifasciata) aime les prairies ouvertes qui lui permettent de trouver du pollen en quantité. La larve se nourrit dans le bois en décomposition.

Frequent beetle on apiaceae in summer, Stenurella bifasciata likes open meadows which allow it to find pollen in quantity. The larva feeds on decaying wood.

Lepture

Les adultes de ce longicorne sont très friands de nectar. Ce n'est pas cette femelle de lepture bifascié (Stenurella bifasciata) qui nous dira le contraire.

The adults of this longhorn beetle are very fond of nectar. It is not this female of Stenurella bifasciata that will tell us the opposite.

Elle est facilement reconnaissable avec la croix noire qui orne ses élytres.

She is easily recognizable with the black cross which decorates its elytrons.

Par contre le mâle c'est une autre paire de manche car la croix est absente .... sur la photo suivante il se pourrait que cela en soit un Mais il me semble un peu trop large, la suture entre les élytres bien marquée il est donc fort probable que nous ayons là un lepture à sutures noires (Stenurella melanura). D'autres critères pourraient les différencier mais sur cette photo pas évident ...

On the other hand the male is a different kettle of fish because the cross is absent ... on the following photo it's probably one. But it seems to me slightly too wide, stitches between its elytrons is well marked thus, very likely, we have a Stenurella melanura. Other criteria could differentiate them but on this photo it's not obvious..

Encore lui * him again

Il y a quelque temps je vous montrais un lepture noir (Stenurella nigra) dont je n'étais pas sûre de l'identification car on ne voyait pas l'abdomen. Mais cette fois-ci il est visible ... en tout cas partiellement. Et, la pointe de rouge que l'on aperçoit semble donc valider l'identification du premier car les deux insectes ont été trouvé sur la même période dans des lieux très proches.

Some time ago I showed you a small black longhorn beetle (Stenurella nigra) of which I was not sure of the identification because one did not see the belly. Noir ou douteux ? * Black or not

Avec cette seule vue il est très difficile de valider l'identification.

Je pense à un lepture noir (Stenurella nigra).

La période correspond, les indices visibles aussi, il manque la coloration de l'abdomen pour pouvoir confirmer (il doit être rougeâtre avec l'apex noir).

Mais sachant que non loin de là j'ai trouvé un lepture qui me semble fort être un lepture douteux mâle (Anastrangalia dubia) il peut s'agir d'une femelle de la même espèce vu que celle ci existe en forme noire ....

But knowing that not far from there I found a longhorn which seems to be an Anastrangalia dubia it's possible that the previous one is a female of the same species seen as it exists in black form....

Allez donc savoir ! Ai-je rencontré ce jour là un couple douteux ???
