Depuis quelques années les fusains subissent les attaques de teignes.
Bien que moins nombreuses cette année, il y en avait quand même
quelques cocons bien visible. Ces chenilles d'hyponomeutes
(Yponomeuta sp sans doute Y. cagnagella car elles sont sur un fusain)
sont inoffensives pour l'homme et les animaux. Elles peuvent fragiliser
l'arbre qu'elles attaques si elles sont trop nombreuses mais jusque'à
maintenant les arbres atteints ont tous résisté.

These ermine moth caterpillars (Yponomeuta sp probably Y. cagnagella because they are on a european spindle) are harmless to humans and animals. They can weaken the tree they attack if they are too numerous but so far the affected trees have all resisted.
