Mélitée du Mélampyre * Heath Fritillary

Il n'est pas toujours évident d'identifier les mélitées. Ceux ci ayant les palpes très noir vu du dessus il semblerait que ce soit donc des mélitées du mélampyre (Mellicta athalia) 

It's not easy to identify fritillaries. Those having very black palpi seen by the top it would seem that they are heath fritillaries (Mellicta athalia)

Le petit jour est une période propice aux rencontres.

C'est ainsi qu'un matin j'ai croisé le damier athalie ou mélitée du mélampyre (Mellicta athalia).
