Dès janvier il y avait profusion de feuilles, presque plus qu'habituellement. L'hiver doux que nous avions leur était favorable. Malheureusement mars fut enneigé et froid et beaucoup ont avorté. Contrairement aux morios (Anacamptis morio) qui ont toutes stoppées leur développement au stade feuilles, quelques orchis boucs (Himantoglossum hircinum) ont quand même fleuri.
From January there was profusion of leaves, almost more than usually. The soft winter which we had was favorable to them. Unfortunately March was covered with snow and cold and many failed. Contrary to morios (Anacamptis morio) which all stopped their development at the leaves stage, some lizard orchid (Himantoglossum hircinum) bloomed.
