Le téléphore livide (Cantharis livida) est comme la plupart des Cantharidae un insecte fort utile. Les adultes mangent les autres insectes et, surtout les pucerons. Quant aux larves, elles ont un faible pour les escargots et les vers.
The soldier beetle (Cantharis livida) is as most of Cantharidae a very useful insect. The adults eat the other insects and, especially the aphids. As for larvas, they have a weakness for snails and worms.
