En théorie on rencontre les adultes du sylphe à 4 points (Dendroxena quadrimaculata) durant les mois de mai et juin. Visiblement, cette année ils sont en avance comme la Flore.Le sylphe à 4 points est un allié car adultes et larves se nourrissent des chenilles processionnaires du chêne (Thaumetopoea processionea). Donc si vous en voyez un, laissez le vivre car il sera votre bouclier naturel contre cette urticante chenille.

In theory, adults of the 4-spotted carrion beetle (Dendroxena quadrimaculata) are found during the months of May and June. Obviously, this year they are early like the Flora. The 4-spotted sylph is an ally because adults and larvae feed on oak processionary caterpillars (Thaumetopoea processionea). So if you see one, let it live because it will be your natural shield against this stinging caterpillar.
