La scathophage du fumier (Scathophaga stercoraria) est, je trouve, une bien jolie mouche même si ces moeurs sont originales.
On les trouve fréquemment sur les bouses fraiches dans lesquelles elles pondent. Les larves s'y développent en mangeant les larves d'autres insectes coprophages.
