Un peu en retard dans le tri des dernières photos, voici pour ce soir une hellebore fétide (Helleborus foetidus) du printemps dernier. Une fleur discrète mais néanmoins jolie.
Autrefois, elle fut utilisée pour protéger de la folie et comme vermifuge. Sa forte toxicité a cependant fait renoncer à son utilisation médicinale.
A little bit late in the sorting of the last photos, here are for this evening one stinking hellebore (Helleborus foetidus) of the last spring. A discreet but nevertheless attractive flower.
Formerly, it was used to protect from the madness and as wormkiller. Its strong toxicity however made give up its medicinal use.
